Hi Bhasker,
I was introduced to you by Mr Gopalan from Bangalore. I was introduced to long distance running by asha and I ran my first half marathon last month. I am supposed to be training for my full marathon now, but had to travel to india for some personal reasons. At this juncture, I am not sure where I will end up with few months later. In the US it was so easy to get the running stuff like shoes, gear, gu and nice trails. here the availability of all this looks challenging. I am right now in Coimbatore and want to be connected with a team to keep myself motivated and keep going.

I can feel this mesmerizing journey unfold right now. I know not where it will end but I know that is is going to be a worthwhile one. Hope to meet you too next year.
Hello Bhasker,
I am Madhu and i was introduced into this mesmerizing world of running by my coach Daniel Vaz (Zico). Since then there is only the beckoning road to run and run.. I am still a novice training for my first Half marathon and this site has been a great source of motivation and inspiration to me ,esp. when someitmes the spirit is on the verge of giving up. But with Zico around, there is nothing called "Quitting". Recently, I read my first book on Running -The Runner's Guide ..."by Amby and my fate was sealed. I write to you now esp. to say that the lines you have written are my favorite lines. I realize why I just cant let go of running now. Because in Amby's words again " It's not about how fast you go. It's not about how far you go. It's a process. As we run, we become."Thanks.
